ABOUT COTINGAS

Cotingas are a large species of bird throughout South America. The spangled Cotinga is found in Ecuador with its turquoise plumage and deep red throat. Cotingas, like teachers, come in many sizes, shapes, colors and live in different locales. No matter what, they live to take care of and nurture their young, which is the mission of the Cotinga Foundation.
